Nina Davies
Davies’s multifaceted, research-driven practice frequently manifests through choreography and filmic production, confronting the human perspective on rapidly shifting technological paradigms. Through both fictional and non-fictional frameworks, her work builds new critical methodologies for engaging with dance — particularly in the context of how it is made, consumed, and circulated in contemporary culture.
Nina Davies (b. 1991) has recently exhibited her work at institutions including Tate Britain; Artspace, Sydney; The Photographers’ Gallery, London; Hartware MedienKunstVerein (HMKV), Dortmund; Seventeen, London; Matt’s Gallery, London; and Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2023. In 2021, she co-founded Future Artefacts FM, an artist-run broadcast initiative dedicated to showcasing artists working with speculative fiction.
